If you're looking for a thoughtful, lovingly crafted gift for the dog or pet lover in your life - then you have come to the right place. Pup Art is the work of Bedfordshire artist and designer David Smith, who works digitally from scratch (no filters here) to create fluid, fun and quirky artistic interpretations of your best furry friends.

Share your pictures with us here via email: [email protected] and they'll be reviewed prior to artwork commencing. We'll raise any issues and make some friendly suggestions if necessary, to help make sure you get the artwork your proud pup deserves.

Pay invoice & painting begins!

Once an order is confirmed, an invoice will be issued which we respectfully request is paid prior to artwork commencing. Payment via bank transfer/PayPal only please.

HOW MUCH DOES A PORTRAIT COST?

Custom pet portrait £50 (plus VAT)

Our custom pet portraits begin at a price of £50 plus VAT for a single pet. Once the portrait design is approved, we will provide you with a high-resolution digital file that can be conveniently printed at your preferred local supplier.

The portrait size is set at 10x10" and features a captivating loose head and shoulders composition with a simple yet stylish background. The pose of the pet in the portrait will closely resemble, if not replicate, the reference photos you provide. For helpful tips on selecting the ideal reference photos, please refer to our photo tips section.

Portrait and gallery print £70 (plus VAT)

For those seeking a complete package, we offer a custom portrait along with a top-quality giclée print for a total price of £70 plus VAT. This price also includes delivery of the portrait to your address anywhere within the UK. Our artist personally manages the printing process, ensuring a professional gallery-quality print on fine-art Hahnemühle matt texture paper (Albrecht Durer) at 210gsm. These prints are not only durable, with pigment inks that meet archive standards and last for over a century, but also visually stunning. You only need to select a suitable frame to showcase it elegantly in your home.

Keep in mind that we'll never get to meet your prized pet in the flesh, so the clearer and more detailed the photo you supply, the better the final piece will be. Use your camera or phone's highest quality setting, make sure the dog is in focus and if possible supply a few good shots to work from.
