1. Who can enter?

Top of the Pups is open to [UK residents aged 18 or over].

Each person may enter one dog. You must own the dog or have the owner’s permission to enter them.

Entry and voting are free. No purchase is necessary.

2. How to enter

Email your dog’s name and your favourite photograph of them to david@pup-art.co.uk by 20 October 2026.

Your entry is accepted once the photograph appears on the Top of the Pups voting page. Pup Art UK may decline photographs that do not feature a dog, are unsuitable for publication or do not meet these rules.

3. Permission to use your photograph

By entering, you confirm that you took the photograph or have permission from the photographer to use it.

You keep ownership of your photograph. You give Pup Art UK permission to crop, reproduce and share it on the Pup Art UK website and social-media accounts for the purposes of running and promoting Top of the Pups, including the weekly Chart Show and winner announcement.

Please do not submit a photograph containing an identifiable person unless you have their permission for it to be published.

4. Voting

Voting takes place only on the Pup Art UK website.

Each visitor may cast one vote per calendar day, measured using UK time. You may vote for your own dog and may invite friends and family to vote.

Only genuine votes are permitted. Automated voting, bots, scripts, purchased votes, fake accounts or any other attempt to artificially manipulate the result are not allowed.

Pup Art UK may investigate unusual voting activity and remove votes it reasonably believes are invalid. A dog will only be disqualified where there is reasonable evidence that its entrant, or someone acting on their behalf, deliberately attempted to manipulate the result.

5. Closing date and winner

Voting closes at 11:59pm UK time on 20 October 2026.

The winner will be the eligible dog with the highest number of valid votes when voting closes. Weekly Instagram charts are progress updates only; the website’s verified final count will determine the winner.

If two or more dogs finish with the same number of valid votes, the winner will be selected from the tied dogs using a verifiably random process witnessed by an independent person.

6. The prize

There is one prize: a Pup Art UK Signature Portrait worth £120.
This takes the form of a 10×10” art print and UK delivery is included.

The prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged and has no cash alternative.

The winner will need to supply a photograph suitable for creating the portrait.

7. Winner announcement

The winner will be announced on the Pup Art UK website and Instagram account on or around the end of October and contacted using the email address supplied with their entry.

The winner must reply within 7 days. If Pup Art UK cannot contact the winner after reasonable attempts, or the winner does not reply within that period, the prize may be offered to the eligible runner-up.

The winner’s dog’s name and photograph will be published. The winner may object to the publication of their own name or ask for the amount of personal information published to be reduced.

8. Personal information

Entrants’ contact details will be used to administer Top of the Pups, contact the winner and arrange the prize. They will not be added to a marketing list unless the entrant separately agrees.

9. General

Pup Art UK will administer Top of the Pups fairly and may take reasonable action where necessary to protect the integrity of the voting.

If circumstances outside Pup Art UK’s reasonable control make this necessary, Pup Art UK may suspend or amend the promotion while taking care not to disadvantage existing entrants unfairly.

Top of the Pups is run by Pup Art UK. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta.
